Confidence Bootcamp: Communication & Confidence Skills for Teens

This 4-day confidence bootcamp is designed to help teens and young adults build the skills needed to thrive in social, academic, and future professional environments. The focus is on strengthening self-esteem, communication abilities, and emotional regulation in a supportive, structured setting.
Led by Certified OCT teacher and confidence coach Larry La Gamba, participants will engage in interactive exercises that encourage personal growth and real-world application. The program is designed to help individuals feel more comfortable expressing themselves and navigating social situations with confidence.
Confidence is closely tied to managing everyday anxiety. Anxiety Canada provides free, evidence-based tools for teens and young adults that complement the communication and self-esteem skills practiced in this confidence bootcamp.
This bootcamp provides a hands-on, engaging environment where participants can practice confidence-building skills in real time. Each day focuses on structured activities that gradually build comfort and self-assurance.
Participants will also be supported in developing practical tools to manage stress and improve communication in everyday life.
Participants will learn actionable strategies to navigate social situations with greater ease. The focus is on building confidence through repetition and guided support.
Structured exercises help participants develop comfort speaking in front of others. Coaching is provided to support clarity, presence, and self-assurance.
Interactive role-play and scenario-based exercises help participants practice real-life communication skills. This supports adaptability and emotional awareness in social settings.
Participants are introduced to breathwork, visualization, and mindfulness techniques. These tools help manage anxiety and support calmness under pressure.
This bootcamp is designed to support personal development and communication skill-building in adolescents and young adults.

No prior experience is required. All activities are guided and beginner-friendly.
