Welcome to my services. You just took the first but most difficult step of initiating the process for change by looking at your options for support. I truly believe that finding the right fit is imperative in success of the therapeutic process. That’s why I offer a half hour free consultation to provide an opportunity for clients to get a feel of what the therapy is about. Whilst getting to ask any questions they might have.
Since completing my formal education, including a Master’s Degree in Educational and Counseling Psychology from McGill University, I have gained highly valuable experience for over 20 years in the specialized discipline of Psychology and Counseling, with special emphasis on Mental health, Couple counseling, Trauma recovery, Parenting, Behavior management and Group counseling.
My intense desire and deep commitment to work with individuals, couples, and families in need of psychological assistance has allowed me to help them reach their maximum potential and create positive changes in their lives.
In addition to my private practice I work as a consultant with school board and also manage a program in peel region where we provide support to women and children who have witnessed trauma and/or abuse. I am also very compassionate to give back to the community and serve as a Vice President for SAWAC (non-profit South Asian Women Association of Canada).
I am an approved supervisor with the College of Registered Psychotherapists and provide supervision to interns and new therapists who need to gain experience and accumulate supervision hours for membership with the college.
I am also approved supervisor/ field instructor for University of Toronto and York University Masters of social work and masters of psychology programs and provide support and training to students enrolled in these programs.
