Personal biography

Wayne Dewhurst, RP, is a Registered Psychotherapist who has worked with couples and families for over 20 years. He holds a Master’s in Psychotherapy and brings a compassionate, non-judgmental, systems-informed approach to the complexities of relationships. His own life as a foster parent, in a blended family and in a multi-ethnic marriage gives him practical insight into how relationships hold up under real pressure. Sessions are conversational and practical, combining approaches such as CBT and DBT with strategies and homework that support lasting change. Wayne works with young adults, adults and seniors, individually and as couples or families, in person and virtually.
