Accepting New Clients

“Healing is not about erasing the past, but helping the brain learn a new way forward.”

Personal biography

I am a compassionate and dedicated mental health clinician who is passionate about supporting children and young adults as they navigate life’s challenges. I have a strong background in psychology and neuroscience and am currently pursuing advanced training in mental health, allowing me to bring both evidence-based knowledge and a thoughtful, empathetic approach to my work.

I have extensive experience in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), where I have worked closely with children and youth, particularly those with ADHD. This experience has shaped my understanding of behaviour, emotional regulation, and the importance of meeting each client where they are. I also support clients experiencing anxiety, low mood, self-esteem challenges, and difficulties related to school and family relationships.

My approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and I focus on helping clients gently explore the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviours. I believe that therapy should feel like a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and never judged. I work collaboratively with each client, adapting sessions to their unique needs, goals, and comfort level.

In sessions, clients can expect a balance of structure and flexibility. I often incorporate psychoeducation in a way that feels approachable and empowering, along with practical coping strategies, skill-building, and goal-setting. When working with children and adolescents, I aim to make sessions engaging, relatable, and developmentally appropriate.

Above all, my goal is to help clients feel more confident, understood, and equipped to manage their emotions and experiences. I value building strong, trusting relationships and strive to create a space where clients feel safe to be themselves, explore their challenges, and grow at their own pace.
