“Awareness is the first step toward meaningful change.”

Personal biography

I hold an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from York University and a Masters in Counseling Psychology from Yorkville University. My professional journey began as a Child and Youth Worker, where I developed a strong foundation in supporting individuals and families through complex emotional and behavioural challenges. This experience continues to inform my work today, allowing me to connect thoughtfully with children, adolescents, adults, and couples.

My approach to therapy is collaborative, tailored, and grounded genuine connection. I believe that meaningful change begins in a space where you feel safe, understood, and respected. I work to create a calm, nonjudgmental environment, where you can explore your feelings openly while feeling supported at every step.

I draw from evidence based approaches such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT), mindfulness based stress reduction (MBSR), and the Gottman method. Rather than taking a one size fits all approach, I thoughtfully adapt each session to your unique goals and needs-whether that involves developing practical coping strategies, gaining insight into patterns, improving relationships, or working through anxiety, grief, trauma, and/or other concerns.

Clients can expect sessions that are both reflective and goal oriented. I offer a balanced of attentive, listening, thoughtful guidance, and practical tools that can be applied beyond the therapy room. My aim is to help you not only better understand yourself, but also feel equipped with strategies that support lasting and meaningful change.

At the core of my work is a commitment to helping you feel heard, supported, and empowered. Therapy is a collaborative process, and I strive to ensure that each session is purposeful, engaging, and aligned with what matters to you most.
