“To be seen is to be healed.”

Personal biography

Anushaeh is a social media volunteer with a background in psychology. She recently completed an Honours Bachelor’s degree and is preparing to begin a Master’s in Clinical Psychology. Her academic training has given her an appreciation for human behaviour, motivation, and the ways people connect with one another, and she brings all of it directly into her volunteer work.

She sees social media not as a broadcasting tool but as a space where community, belonging, and meaningful conversation can grow. In her role she creates and schedules content, writes captions, and helps Serene Heart Counselling engage its audience in a warm and thoughtful way. She also tracks analytics to understand what resonates with the community and how the practice can serve it better. Her understanding of empathy, active listening, and emotional intelligence shapes every piece of content she creates, because behind every like or comment is a real person with real emotions.

Anushaeh’s approach is collaborative and intentional. She does not believe in posting for the sake of posting: every caption, image, and reply should tell a story, offer support, or spark a genuine connection. She follows platform trends and pairs them with what the practice stands for, so that the content reflects values the community recognizes. Her psychology background is a daily reminder that connection sits at the core of the work, online and off, and that social media done with care can reduce isolation and build community.

Her coursework spans social, developmental, and community psychology alongside behavioural neuroscience, which shapes how she approaches social media in therapy and support settings.
