Osman’s current speciality is working with young adults from the age of 17+, and has a passion in helping both individuals and couples resolve their internal and relational issues. These issues range from mental health issues (Anxiety, Depression, Mood and Personality Disorders), grief/loss, academic and career struggles, life transitions, and overall emotional regulation with effective communication. Osman also has a deep interest in working with individuals with Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD), and those who identify as South Asian relating both to Osman’s personal and professional background. Osman prioritizes creating a safe and non-judgemental space for all of his clients to share their stories and struggles as openly as possible, and by leaning on their strengths in the hopes to honor the sacred space that is the therapeutic relationship to the benefit of his client’s well-being.
Osman strives to be a trauma-informed therapist who takes a person-centred and systemic approach that is unique to each client. Osman co-creates with their client therapeutic goals in therapy and practices using a variety of modalities, which include, but are not limited to, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution Focused Therapy, Gottman and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Family Systems Therapy
Osman is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and is in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), having completed his required direct client hours and supervision requirements. Osman is also a member of the Canadian Counseling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). Osman takes part in continuous professional development, through supervision and on-going training to provide the best care to his clients. Osman has completed certifications in CBT, DBT, and EFCT.

Osman sees the therapy room as a sacred space and a privilege to share. Currently completing his Master’s in Counseling Psychology with research on intimate partner violence in South Asian communities, he brings ten years of experience to his work with adults and couples on trauma, relationships, faith, cultural identity, and anger.
