Accepting New Clients
“It does not matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop.” , Confucius
Life can feel overwhelming at times. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, grief, relationship challenges, parenting stress, or significant life transitions, therapy can provide a space to feel heard, supported, and understood. My goal is to help clients build insight, develop effective coping strategies, and move toward meaningful and lasting change.
I work with children, teens, adults, and families, supporting individuals through a wide range of challenges including anxiety, depression, self-esteem and confidence concerns, perfectionism, relationship difficulties, emotional regulation, grief, and traumatic loss. I strive to create a compassionate, non-judgmental environment where clients feel safe exploring their experiences and strengths.
With children, I help build emotional awareness, confidence, coping skills, and resilience while supporting concerns related to anxiety, big emotions, neurodivergence, self-esteem, and social challenges. I work collaboratively with parents and caregivers to strengthen family relationships and support children’s emotional wellbeing both at home and in the community.
My professional experience spans hospital, community, educational, and legal settings, where I have supported individuals and families facing complex life circumstances.
I am an approved therapist with Victim Services and have experience supporting individuals impacted by domestic and intimate partner violence. In addition, I have worked with families navigating involvement with the criminal justice system and understand the unique emotional, relational, and systemic challenges these experiences can create.
My practice is inclusive, affirming, and welcoming to individuals of all backgrounds, including members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. I am committed to creating a space where clients feel respected, valued, and safe to be themselves.
My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and person-centred. I draw from evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, mindfulness-based approaches, grief-informed practice, and strengths-based interventions. Together, we will work to better understand patterns, build practical skills, and create a path forward that aligns with your goals and values.
I believe that healing happens through connection, self-compassion, and the recognition that growth is possible even during life’s most difficult moments. It would be a privilege to support you on that journey.
My experience comes from working in diverse settings including schools, group homes, custodial facilities, and with asylum seekers. I specialize in working with children with exceptionalities, parent coaching, supporting families through conflict, and grief and loss. I also help clients manage anxiety, low self-esteem, burnout, and compassion fatigue, using practical, solution-focused strategies in a warm, collaborative way.
