I view counselling as a life-on-life journey where we work together to discover what health, healing, and wholeness can look like for you. During our sessions my goal is to create a safe space for you to feel comfortable to share and work through your struggles and challenges. You are not alone, and you need not feel alone. My hope is that you will feel empowered, encouraged, and even emboldened though our journey together.Throughout my life I have had many opportunities, professionally, personally, and as a volunteer, to walk with people through some of the most difficult times in their lives. These include homeless and impoverished people, those who are or who have been incarcerated, marriage preparation, relationship breakdowns, separation, divorce, mental health issues, addiction recovery, issues related to human sexuality, violent and traumatic events, PTSD, and suicide. These experiences have given me a passion for helping people find hope as they move toward health, healing, and wholeness. I use a multimodal approach to treatment which includes, CBT, CPT, narrative therapy, solution focused therapy, the Gottman Method, and more.Thomas Jefferson said, "if you want something you have never had, you must be willing to do something you have never done.” So, what is it you want?
