Maria Ahmed is a trauma-informed psychotherapist who supports individuals navigating complex emotional experiences, including addiction, anxiety, spiritual distress, and relational trauma. She works with clients who often carry unspoken emotions—grief, shame, anger, numbness—and are seeking a space where they don’t have to perform, explain, or feel “too much.”

Her approach is relational, grounded, and emotionally attuned. Maria helps clients slow down and reconnect with their body, their emotions, and the parts of themselves that have been silenced or overwhelmed. She integrates Emotion-Focused Therapy, somatic practices, DBT skills, and narrative work. When requested, she also offers faith-integrated support grounded in Islamic or Christian frameworks.

Maria believes therapy is not about fixing people—it’s about helping them make meaningful contact with themselves. In her sessions, healing is not rushed or forced; it unfolds at the pace of safety, connection, and curiosity.
