Mindfulness Based Group

We work in collaboration with the Mindful Switch to guide you through an 7-week mindfulness based program to reduce stress and teach you practices to bring more calm into your life.

Adolescent Social Skills and Emotional Regulation Group

SHC is thrilled to offer a social skills group to children ages 10-13. This group will facilitate self-awareness, personal and interpersonal boundaries, emotional regulation, improved communication, and self-advocacy skills. These adolescents will gain skills that will allow them to have better self-control, establish healthy friendships, and increase their ability to sustain long-lasting relationships.

This will be a closed psychotherapeutic group to allow emotional safety and positive group dynamics.

Children's Social Skills and Emotional Regulation Group

SHC is thrilled to offer a social skills group to children ages 6 to 9. This group will facilitate self-awareness, personal and interpersonal boundaries, emotional regulation, improved communication, and self-advocacy skills. We facilitate this growth through creativity and emotional bonds within the therapeutic atmosphere, Children will gain skills that will allow them to have better self-control, establish healthy friendships, and increase their ability to sustain long-lasting relationships.

This will be a closed psychotherapeutic group to allow emotional safety and positive group dynamics.

Couple Enhancement Workshop

We are inviting interested couples to attend a 4-day weekend workshop: What should you expect - top features include:

- Build awareness on the foundational principles to a successful relationship.

- Gain tools to help improve friendship and admiration, enhance romance and intimacy, and manage conflict constructively.

- Workshop delivered by SHC therapists and includes lectures/awareness building as well as in-class & at-home exercises for couples.

- Couples workbook for each partner and a book for the couple.

- Refreshments and snacks will be served.

- Location: SHC Milton office.

- We will issue receipts if you would like to claim the costs from your insurance.
